Does it fit my shower?
Yes. Hurmey fits every standard shower hose with a ½" (G½) connection, which is the norm across Europe and most of the world. Just unscrew your old head and screw Hurmey on by hand.
What does the filter do?
The cartridge combines four layers: activated carbon fibre, high-precision PP cotton, a non-woven sediment layer and silver ions. Together they help reduce chlorine, sediment and rust particles before the water reaches your skin and hair.
How often should I replace the filter?
Every 2–3 months on average. You'll see the cartridge change colour as it works; when it turns brown, it's time for a fresh one. Busy households may need to replace it sooner.
Will my water pressure drop?
No. The ring nozzle concentrates the flow into fine jets, so the spray feels stronger, not weaker. Results depend on the water pressure in your home.
Does it remove limescale?
No shower filter can fully soften hard water. Hurmey is designed to help reduce chlorine, sediment and rust particles. If you live in a hard-water area, you'll still want to wipe your shower glass now and then.
